Lots of things have happened since last I posted here.  This is the nutshell:

• My mom died.  :(
• I am married.  :)
• My new last name is Benabderrahman.
• I've been to Africa.
• I'm living on a precarious edge of everything.

I found this book.  It's called "The Book of Good Cheer." The subtitle is "A Little Bundle of Cheery Thoughts" and it's edited by some guy named Edwin Osgood Grover.  It's small and the paper is cheerfully yellowed, and there's a cheery little basket of orange flowers illustrated on the title page.  The thing is, it's a "wealth of wisdon and good ( Read more... )

The new Google browser is absolutely amazing.

One of my favorite things about it is the grayed-out areas in the web address - Only the domain is actually black.  I have no idea how this actually benefits me, and I know I could say something like, "It's easier to tell if I'm actually logging into MySpace..." or something, but the truth is, I just ( Read more... )

I thought it would be bigger.  Somehow.

Maybe I need to get one of those frames with the big matte in it.
